Baby bottles for newborns

Whether you want to alternate between breastfeeding and bottle-feeding with breast milk or simply bottle-feeding with infant formulas, it's important that your baby is comfortable and at ease.

At Le Biberon Français we have a very clear bias and an ecological guideline. To offer the teats that are most likely to suit your baby, but also to ensure that you spend as little as possible.

The right bottle size

Many brands will offer you small bottles that look cute, but in reality they're only good for a very short time and then they're useless, even for bottles of water or fruit juice once baby has grown up: it's just a waste (see the REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE section).

The most important thing about a feeding bottle is that it should simply be numbered from 10ml to 10ml so that you can keep an eye on how much baby is taking in at mealtimes.

It is therefore also necessary to choose it large enough so that it can be used for a long time. Our bottles do not absorb any odor or color of food so you will use and keep them for a long time. Our smallest size is 210 ml which can therefore be used from birth until your baby is independent and moves on to diversification and this comes much faster than you might imagine.

But the decisive element in the success of bottle feeding is the teat.

It must be flexible enough to be pleasant in the mouth for baby, especially during mixed breastfeeding or during the transition phase from the mother's breast to the bottle. Our teats, which have a teat that has an anatomical shape, are among the most flexible on the market.

The teat must also not have any taste or odor, for example, bottles with rubber teats are not completely inert and can in some cases cause allergies.

Finally, the flow rate of the teat is very important and each baby has their own appetite and their own suction force, which is why we have 3 different flow rates on each teat (see how it works). So you put the best chances on your side for baby to have a pleasant and easy meal with a single reference of teat S for 0-6 months.

Naturally an anti-collic and anti-reflux system is also essential to prevent baby from refusing the bottle.
