The immaturity of your baby's digestive system and the small size of his stomach play a major role in his rejecting some of the milk he swallows, but certain factors are clearly aggravating. Taking in milk too quickly and taking in too much air.
To counter these two factors, our anti-reflux feeding bottles are a particularly well-suited solution.
How can they help?
All our teats are fitted with an anti-colic system that actually prevents baby from taking in large gulps of air between feeds. When this system is absent or defective, the air breathed in and trapped in the digestive system will inevitably try to escape, taking with it some of the milk ingested and causing reflux.
All our teats have variable flow rates, so you can control the speed at which baby drinks with the same teat. If he drinks too quickly and potentially takes in too much milk, naturally this excess will also tend to be rejected by the body. By using our anti-reflux feeding bottles, you can adapt the flow of food to your baby's needs and abilities.
Finally, this variable flow system also makes it easy to use thickened milks and to add cereals to the bottle, which reduces reflux in some babies (talk to your paediatrician).
You'll also notice that all our bottles have wide necks, so there's no need to spill them when preparing the bottle.
